DownCity Design is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the urban core of Rhode Island by getting young people involved in building the future. For this Tech Lounge proposal, I wanted to engage interactive moments for every part of the space to encourage creativity and comfort. The design choices are made to involve the users in the making of the space by using accessible materials and easy-to-construct furniture. I designed the space to emphasize the playful atmosphere through exploring forms and shapes. Overall, this project envisions a critical and active environment for students to be productive in the space.
